Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments and cloud infrastructure
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement security protocols
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN services
- Deploy and manage virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Automate tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning
- Document IT systems and provide technical guidance to junior staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in system administration with Windows/Linux environments
- Expertise in VMware/Hyper-V and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Python/Bash)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification
- Experience with network monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix)
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
