Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server infrastructure across on-premises and AWS environments
- Lead cloud migration projects and optimize resource utilization using Terraform and Ansible
- Proactively monitor system health using Nagios and Splunk, resolving incidents within SLA targets
- Implement robust cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access controls
- Automate deployment pipelines with CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitLab) and infrastructure-as-code
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex system issues and mentor junior team members
- Document architecture blueprints and compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Linux/Windows Server
- Expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC) and hybrid cloud architectures
- Strong scripting proficiency (Python/Bash) and automation tool mastery
- Certifications in AWS, CompTIA Server+, or equivalent demonstrable expertise
- Proven experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker)
- Deep understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and load balancing
- Ability to troubleshoot complex multi-layer infrastructure issues
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
