Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud environments (Azure/AWS).
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and resolve critical incidents with minimal downtime.
- Manage Active Directory user accounts, group policies, and security protocols to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to streamline deployment processes and improve CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct regular system backups, disaster recovery testing, and perform routine maintenance updates.
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support to internal employees and resolve complex technical inquiries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Deep knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
