Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex server infrastructure (Linux/Windows) across on-premises and cloud platforms
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives including vulnerability assessments, patch management, and compliance monitoring
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible, Terraform, or similar DevOps tools
- Provide tier-3 technical support and mentor junior team members
- Optimize system performance and capacity planning for 24/7 operations
- Collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipeline integration
- Document system architecture and create disaster recovery protocols
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Linux/Windows environments
- Expert-level knowledge of AWS/Azure cloud services and hybrid architectures
- Certifications (e.g., CompTIA Server+, RHCE, MCSA) required
- Proficiency in scripting (Python/Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven track record of implementing security best practices and compliance frameworks
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure
