Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and monitoring of Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Network Security: Implement and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems to protect corporate assets and data integrity.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues for employees, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid resolution.
- System Administration: Manage Active Directory (AD) user accounts, group policies, and Identity Management solutions.
- Backup & Recovery: Develop and execute robust backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
- Hardware Support: Procure, configure, and deploy workstations, printers, and mobile devices.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation, runbooks, and change management logs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Operating Systems: Strong proficiency in Windows Server (2012/2016/2019/2022) and Linux (Red Hat/CentOS/Ubuntu).
- Scripting: Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash for automation.
- Certifications: CompTIA Network+, Security+, CCNA, or similar certifications are highly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability: Ability to work occasional after-hours or on-call rotations for critical incidents.
