Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Windows/Linux server environments and virtualization infrastructure
- Manage cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) including resource allocation, security groups, and cost optimization
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell/Python for routine maintenance and deployment
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute quarterly DR tests
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Splunk
- Document IT processes and maintain configuration management databases
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex system outages
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Certifications: MCSA, MCSE, or CompTIA Server+ required
- Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere and Hyper-V
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Bash)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with network protocols
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
