Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization platforms (VMware), and cloud services (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and monitor security protocols including firewalls, encryption, and access controls
- Automate system management using PowerShell/Ansible and scripting tools
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network infrastructure (Cisco/Juniper)
- Perform disaster recovery testing and backup administration (Veeam)
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Windows Server 2016+ and Linux
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Azure, or AWS Certified SysOps
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix) and ITIL practices
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network and system issues
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
