Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Windows/Linux server environments across on-premises and AWS cloud platforms
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise networking infrastructure
- Automate system administration tasks using PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform
- Monitor system performance using Nagios, Zabbix, and cloud-native monitoring tools
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute security vulnerability assessments
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document system architecture and create operational runbooks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent certification (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, RHCSA)
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 and RHEL/CentOS environments
- Advanced knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, Firewalls)
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex multi-tier systems
- ITIL Foundation certification preferred
