Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate security incidents using forensic tools and techniques
- Develop and implement threat detection protocols
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate vulnerabilities
- Generate comprehensive security incident reports
- Conduct penetration testing and security assessments
- Stay current with emerging cyber threats and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on security operations experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Nmap, Wireshark)
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST, MITRE ATT&CK)
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux systems administration
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
