Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within the Security Operations Center (SOC).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses in network infrastructure.
- Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and endpoint protection tools.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure architecture implementation.
- Perform regular security audits and risk assessments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
