Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems 24/7 using SIEM tools to detect and respond to threats
- Conduct forensic investigations on security incidents and document findings
- Develop and implement security protocols to prevent unauthorized access
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and ISO standards
- Generate actionable intelligence reports for executive leadership
- Lead incident response drills and security awareness training
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Certification in Security+, CISSP, or CEH (required)
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, WAF)
- Experience with threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK)
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux systems and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Excellent written communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure during critical incidents
