The Role
As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will monitor our security infrastructure, respond to security breaches, and implement measures to prevent future attacks.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for suspicious activities and potential security breaches.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, including root cause analysis and remediation.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and VPNs.
- Enforce organizational security policies and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Certification preferred: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC.
- 3+ years of experience in SOC, GRC, or Threat Intelligence.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and other network protocols.
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and Log Analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
