Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activity and threat indicators
- Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and develop mitigation strategies
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across enterprise networks
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and industry regulations
- Generate comprehensive security reports and executive dashboards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in security operations center (SOC) environments
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Strong understanding of threat intelligence frameworks and MITRE ATT&CK
- Experience with incident response, forensics, and log analysis
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
