Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and refine AI prompts for large language models (LLMs) including GPT-4, Claude, and custom solutions
- Conduct systematic prompt testing and A/B experiments to optimize response quality and accuracy
- Collaborate with product teams to align prompt engineering with user experience requirements
- Document prompt libraries, best practices, and performance metrics for team knowledge base
- Analyze model outputs to identify improvement opportunities and implement iterative enhancements
- Stay current with emerging AI research and integrate new techniques into prompt development workflows
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering, NLP, or related AI development roles
- Proven portfolio of successful prompt optimization projects with measurable outcomes
- Expertise in LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) and prompt engineering frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot complex AI-generated responses
- Excellent written communication skills for creating clear, effective prompts
- Familiarity with Python and prompt automation tools (LangChain, Haystack)
