Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Cisco Prime
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues across Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba devices
- Document network changes and maintain accurate system diagrams
- Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with NIST standards
- Collaborate with cloud teams to hybrid on-premises and Azure environments
- Provide Tier 3 support during critical outages and scheduled maintenance
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA/CCNP or equivalent industry certification required
- Proficiency in Cisco IOS, Juniper Junos, and Palo Alto firewalls
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Python)
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional on-call rotations
- Valid driver's license for occasional client site visits
- CompTIA Network+ certification preferred
