Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans for web/mobile applications
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear severity metrics
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve critical issues
- Design and maintain test cases aligned with user stories and acceptance criteria
- Conduct regression testing on new builds to ensure product stability
- Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives to improve QA processes
- Perform exploratory testing to discover edge cases and usability issues
- Generate detailed test reports with actionable insights for stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on QA experience with web and mobile applications
- Proficiency in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, or Appium)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect tracking systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and precision
- Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and database validation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- ISTQB Foundation Certification or equivalent a plus
- Excellent written communication for documenting test cases and reports
