Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) hardware.
- Perform cable management and structured cabling installations (Cat6, Fiber).
- Monitor network performance and traffic to ensure optimal uptime and security.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, hardware failures, and software conflicts.
- Manage and update network inventory and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with IT management to implement new network solutions and upgrades.
- Respond to service tickets and provide technical support to internal staff.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certification such as CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCENT/CCNA preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (site visits may be required).
