Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to identify potential threats.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Respond to and remediate security incidents in accordance with established incident response plans.
- Implement and manage firewalls, antivirus solutions, and intrusion detection systems.
- Enforce security policies and procedures for user access control and identity management.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure architecture design and deployment.
- Produce detailed security reports and metrics for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a cybersecurity analyst or SOC role.
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, CEH, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP, and common security standards (NIST, ISO).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python or PowerShell) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for on-site security audits if required.
