Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications using Java and Python
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code with Terraform
- Debug and resolve production issues during weekend operational windows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features
- Optimize system performance and ensure 99.9% uptime for weekend deployments
- Participate in agile ceremonies and sprint planning
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering with Java/Python
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI)
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
