Responsibilities
- Create user personas, journey maps, and wireframes for mobile/web applications
- Conduct user research sessions and usability testing sessions with local Hawaii audiences
- Develop high-fidelity prototypes and interactive design systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, developers, stakeholders)
- Present design solutions and iterate based on user feedback
- Contribute to our design library and maintain consistent UI/UX standards
- Participate in design critiques and knowledge-sharing workshops
Qualifications
- Portfolio demonstrating design thinking and problem-solving skills (school projects accepted)
- Basic understanding of UX principles and design methodologies
- Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar)
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate design decisions
- Passion for creating intuitive user experiences
- Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced environments
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and trends
- Residency or eligibility to work in the United States required
