Responsibilities
- Design & Prototyping: Create high-fidelity wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes using Figma and Adobe XD.
- User Research: Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and competitive analysis to gather insights and validate design decisions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define product requirements and ensure design feasibility.
- Design Systems: Maintain and evolve our internal design system to ensure consistency and efficiency across all digital products.
- Visual Design: Apply a strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles to create visually compelling interfaces.
- Accessibility: Ensure all designs meet WCAG 2.1 AA compliance and are accessible to all users.
- Documentation: Create detailed design specs and handoff documentation to facilitate smooth development handovers.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of projects, including mobile and web applications, with a clear focus on user-centered design.
- Tools: Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex design concepts to non-design audiences.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and the technical limitations of web and mobile development.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, empathy, and a passion for user advocacy.
