Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end UX design processes including user research, wireframing, and prototyping
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into intuitive user journeys
- Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on user feedback
- Develop design systems and maintain consistency across digital platforms
- Present design solutions to stakeholders and advocate for user-centered design principles
- Analyze user behavior data to identify optimization opportunities
- Mentor junior designers and conduct design critiques
Qualifications
- 3+ years of UX design experience with a portfolio showcasing mobile/web projects
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, and prototyping tools
- Strong understanding of design systems and accessibility standards
- Experience with user research methodologies (interviews, surveys, usability testing)
- Bachelor's degree in UX Design, HCI, or related field
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Portfolio demonstrating successful design implementations
- Knowledge of Pittsburgh's tech ecosystem preferred
