Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Nagios
- Implement security protocols to protect against cyber threats
- Troubleshoot network issues using diagnostic tools and methodologies
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with IT teams on cloud integration projects (AWS/Azure)
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation after training completion
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, OSI model)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to obtain CompTIA Network+ certification
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in server environments
- Valid California driver's license for occasional site visits
