Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments across cloud and on-premise infrastructure
- Proactively monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and SolarWinds to prevent downtime
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network security protocols (Firewall/VPN)
- Execute patch management and OS upgrades while ensuring 99.9% system uptime
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline automation using Ansible/Terraform
- Document IT infrastructure changes and maintain compliance with SOC2 standards
- Provide Tier-3 technical support and lead disaster recovery drills
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware vSphere) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation
- CCNA/CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent
- Proven experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Datadog) and backup solutions (Veeam)
- Ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills and cross-functional collaboration experience
