Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows Server and Linux environments across on-premises and cloud platforms
- Implement and maintain robust security protocols, including firewalls, encryption, and access controls
- Oversee virtualization infrastructure (VMware/Hyper-V) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proactively monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Splunk
- Design and execute disaster recovery plans with RTO/RPO adherence
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Python, and Ansible
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex infrastructure issues
- Document processes and create technical SOPs for team knowledge sharing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT-related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expert proficiency in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network protocols
- Strong background in AWS/Azure cloud services and hybrid architectures
- Experience with backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault) and storage systems (SAN/NAS)
- ITIL foundation certification or equivalent process knowledge
- Proven troubleshooting skills with enterprise applications and databases
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
