Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Linux/Windows server environments across on-premise and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Implement robust security protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Oversee network infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, and DNS configurations
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and troubleshoot complex system issues
- Automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Ansible)
- Monitor system health using tools like Nagios/Splunk
- Document IT infrastructure and maintain compliance with industry standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in system administration with proven expertise in Linux and Windows Server
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Certifications in AWS/Azure or CompTIA Server+ preferred
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proficient in scripting languages (Python/PowerShell/Bash)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure
