Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level Linux/Windows server environments across AWS and on-premise infrastructure
- Lead system security initiatives including vulnerability assessments, patch management, and compliance audits
- Optimize network performance and troubleshoot complex issues involving firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs
- Automate system administration tasks using Python, Ansible, and Terraform
- Manage cloud infrastructure including EC2, S3, and RDS services
- Provide Tier-3 support for system outages and incident response
- Document system configurations and create runbooks for operational procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with proven expertise in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and IaaS/PaaS services
- Certification in CompTIA Server+, Linux+, or AWS SysOps Administrator
- Proficiency in automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet) and scripting languages
- Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure during critical incidents
