Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows Server/Linux environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization platforms
- Implement robust cybersecurity measures, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and maintain 99.9% uptime SLA
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
- Coordinate disaster recovery planning and execute system backups/restorations
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and cloud migrations (AWS/Azure)
- Document system configurations and maintain compliance with industry standards (SOC2, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise system administration
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 and RHEL/CentOS environments
- CCNA or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Strong knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware ESXi/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven track record in incident response and capacity planning
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
