Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust network infrastructure including servers, cloud services (AWS/Azure), and security protocols
- Proactively monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Splunk, resolving issues before they impact operations
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system backups with 99.9% SLA compliance
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible and Terraform to enhance operational efficiency
- Manage user authentication systems (Active Directory, LDAP) and enforce cybersecurity best practices
- Collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization and infrastructure-as-code implementation
- Document all system configurations and maintain comprehensive knowledge base articles
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Windows Server, Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu), and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Expertise in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet)
- Certifications required: CompTIA Security+ and either MCSA or Linux+; CCNA/CNP strongly preferred
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Advanced scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation and troubleshooting
- Strong analytical skills with ability to diagnose complex technical issues under pressure
