Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization (VMware), and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and manage enterprise-level cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection
- Oversee Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network services across hybrid environments
- Develop automation solutions using PowerShell/Python for routine tasks and monitoring
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system backups/restorations
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex system incidents and performance optimization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience with Windows Server and Linux distributions
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DNS) and cybersecurity best practices
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSE, or Linux+) and scripting proficiency (PowerShell/Python)
- Proven experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools
- Ability to manage high-pressure situations with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
