Responsibilities
- Incident Response: Lead the investigation and remediation of security breaches and cyber incidents in real-time.
- Threat Detection: Monitor network traffic and endpoint systems using SIEM tools to identify anomalies and malicious activities.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to proactively secure systems.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards such as SOC2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
- Security Architecture: Design and implement firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and access controls.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or Security+ required; GCIH preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in information security or network administration.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Splunk, Firewalls (Cisco/Palo Alto), and Active Directory.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Communication: Excellent ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call for critical security events.
