Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java/Python
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Conduct code reviews and optimize system performance
- Document technical architecture and contribute to open-source projects
- Mentor junior engineers during quarterly Kansas City meetups
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in full-stack development with cloud-native technologies
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and containerization (Docker/K8s)
- Experience with REST APIs and GraphQL
- Strong problem-solving skills with system architecture design
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ production-level projects
