Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot network hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Perform regular system backups, security patching, and firmware updates.
- Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps accurately.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement new network infrastructure projects.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users on network-related queries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Computer Science or IT preferred.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
