Responsibilities
- Analyze Complex Data Sets: Gather, process, and perform statistical analysis on large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and maintain interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Report Generation: Create comprehensive reports for management and stakeholders, summarizing findings and recommending actionable business strategies.
- Data Integrity: Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all systems through rigorous testing and validation processes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product, and marketing teams to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions.
- SQL & Coding: Write efficient SQL queries to extract data from databases and use Python/R for advanced data manipulation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-5 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and at least one visualization tool (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with a proven track record of solving complex business problems.
- Relocation: Willingness to relocate to Kansas City, MO (or currently reside there) to meet business requirements.
