Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage complex on-premise and cloud-based server environments (AWS/Azure).
- Implement and maintain robust security policies, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Automate IT processes and workflows using scripting languages like Python or Bash.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for critical infrastructure issues with a focus on 99.99% uptime.
- Conduct regular system audits, patch management, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and containerization strategies.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or DevOps Engineer.
- Expert proficiency in Linux (RHEL, CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP networking.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or Azure Administrator.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
