Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust server infrastructure including Linux/Windows environments
- Manage cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and hybrid network architectures
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot critical issues, and ensure 99.9% uptime
- Implement security protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Automate deployment processes using scripting tools (Python/PowerShell)
- Coordinate disaster recovery plans and system backup procedures
- Mentor junior IT staff and document technical procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in system administration with enterprise-level environments
- Expertise in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server administration
- Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls)
- Certifications (CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/KVM) and containerization (Docker)
- Proficiency in automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
