Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust network security architectures and firewalls.
- Lead incident response efforts and coordinate with external forensic teams.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (GDPR, HIPAA).
- Develop and deliver security awareness training for internal staff.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity or Information Security Engineering.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and endpoint protection.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerization technologies.
- Strong understanding of network protocols and cryptography.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
