Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms and security tools for real-time threat detection
- Investigate security incidents using forensic methodologies
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and mitigation strategies
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security best practices
- Stay current on emerging threats and defense technologies
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical incidents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and security architecture
- Incident response handling experience
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
