Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Manage and configure firewalls, IPS/IDS, and other security infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Perform regular security audits and risk assessments to ensure regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certification preferred: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CISM.
- 3+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity or a related IT role.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Strong knowledge of incident response methodologies and threat intelligence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting technical findings to stakeholders.
