Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions to automate deployment processes.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to refine infrastructure-as-code (IaC) strategies using Terraform or Ansible.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement proactive optimization strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Enforce security best practices and compliance standards (SOC2, HIPAA) to protect sensitive data and infrastructure.
- Conduct regular architecture reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or Solutions Architect.
- Deep technical expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.
- Proven track record of implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
