The Role:
In this part-time position, you will collaborate with our senior developers and designers to write clean, efficient, and scalable code. You will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects ranging from e-commerce platforms to custom web applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly websites using HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
- Assist in front-end design implementation, ensuring pixel-perfect accuracy and cross-browser compatibility.
- Debug and troubleshoot existing codebases to identify and fix issues efficiently.
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Collaborate with the design team to translate wireframes and mockups into functional code.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 1-2 years of professional experience or a strong portfolio showcasing front-end development skills.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Familiarity with at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Vue, or Angular).
- Basic understanding of back-end technologies (PHP, Node.js, or Python) is a plus.
- Experience with version control systems, specifically Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
