Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Proactively monitor network performance using SolarWinds/NPM and resolve outages within SLA
- Implement security protocols (VPN, IDS/IPS) and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid network integrations (AWS/Azure)
- Document network topology, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex network issues and mentor junior technicians
Qualifications
- 5+ years in enterprise network administration with Cisco/Juniper certification
- Expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN design
- Hands-on experience with SD-WAN solutions (Cisco Viptela/Palo Alto Prisma)
- Strong scripting skills (Python/PowerShell) for automation
- CCNP/JNCIP certification required (CCIE/JNCIE preferred)
- Proven track record in high-availability network environments
- Excellent problem-solving with network troubleshooting methodologies
