Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications on AWS/GCP
- Lead weekend deployments and production incident resolution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies
- Optimize system performance and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct weekend code reviews
- Contribute to architecture decisions for high-traffic services
- Participate in quarterly equity strategy planning sessions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development (Python/Java/Go)
- Expertise with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/K8s)
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and REST APIs
- Proven experience with weekend shift operations and on-call rotations
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical certification
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Experience with equity compensation structures and RSU/ISO programs
