Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization environments (VMware), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Implement robust security protocols, including firewalls, encryption, and access controls
- Oversee network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and VPN configurations
- Provide Tier-3 technical support and resolve critical system outages
- Automate deployment and monitoring using Ansible, Terraform, or PowerShell
- Document IT processes and maintain compliance with industry standards (SOX, HIPAA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in system administration and infrastructure management
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise-level networking
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, Linux+, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect preferred
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python) and automation tools
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex IT environments
- Experience with backup/recovery solutions (Veeam, Commvault)
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
