Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize 500+ Linux/Windows servers across AWS and on-premises infrastructure
- Implement advanced monitoring using Prometheus/Grafana with automated alerting protocols
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute quarterly failover drills for critical systems
- Automate deployment pipelines using Ansible and Terraform for CI/CD environments
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance Kubernetes cluster scalability and security
- Document infrastructure architecture and maintain compliance with ISO 27001 standards
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex network/storage issues requiring deep technical analysis
Qualifications
- 5+ years administering enterprise-level Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments
- Expert-level certification (AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent)
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong background in network security (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS)
- Experience with hybrid cloud architectures and multi-region deployments
- Proven track record of reducing system downtime by 40%+ through proactive monitoring
- Ability to mentor junior administrators and lead cross-functional projects
