Responsibilities
- Lead incident response operations for security breaches and cyberattacks
- Implement and manage advanced threat detection using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across cloud/on-premise environments
- Develop security frameworks aligned with NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 standards
- Mentor junior analysts and document security procedures
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for secure CI/CD pipeline integration
- Monitor threat intelligence feeds and proactively mitigate emerging risks
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with 2+ years in incident response
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in network security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Proficiency in cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized environments
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in remote setting
- Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain
