Responsibilities
- Lead SOC operations and manage 24/7 threat detection using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct advanced threat hunting and malware analysis for financial services clients
- Develop and execute penetration testing strategies for cloud infrastructure
- Coordinate incident response activities during security breaches
- Generate executive-level security reports and compliance documentation
- Mentor junior analysts and optimize security automation workflows
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement security-by-design principles
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with financial services sector focus
- CISSP, CISM, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security frameworks and CIS benchmarks
- Advanced knowledge of NIST CSF and PCI-DSS compliance
- Proficient in Python/PowerShell for security automation
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Strong incident response handling with IRP development experience
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
