Responsibilities
- Lead the monitoring and analysis of security alerts across the enterprise using SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct advanced vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to proactively identify weaknesses.
- Design and implement robust security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Oversee the Incident Response (IR) process, coordinating with internal teams during security breaches.
- Ensure compliance with NIST, HIPAA, and other regulatory frameworks through regular audits.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and awareness training programs.
- Perform forensics analysis on compromised systems to determine the root cause of incidents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Information Security.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles.
- Deep understanding of network architecture, TCP/IP, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Proficiency with scripting languages (Python or PowerShell) for automation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make high-stakes decisions under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
