Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize Windows/Linux server environments across on-premises and AWS/Azure platforms
- Implement and maintain enterprise-level security protocols (NIST, CIS benchmarks)
- Lead disaster recovery planning and failover testing for critical systems
- Automate infrastructure workflows using Ansible/Terraform and Python scripts
- Monitor system performance with ELK Stack and Splunk dashboards
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN services
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Windows Server 2019+ and RHEL/CentOS
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and IaaS/PaaS services
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Certifications in CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or Azure Administrator preferred
- Proven experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V)
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios, Datadog)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues (TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP)
