Responsibilities
- Lead 24/7 security operations center (SOC) monitoring and incident response
- Conduct advanced threat hunting using SIEM and EDR platforms
- Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on critical infrastructure
- Develop and maintain comprehensive security documentation and playbooks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement zero-trust architectures
- Provide expert guidance on NIST and CIS compliance frameworks
- mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in SOC/IR roles
- CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certification (required)
- Expertise in Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight SIEM platforms
- Deep knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat intelligence
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) and automation tools
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain immediately
